About Akademia, Inc.
Akademia, Inc. was established in June 2007 in San Francisco in order to start a new business that provides enhanced interactive live communication "room" functions to various existing web sites seamlessly and instantly. Akademia, Inc. is seeking partners and investors who have interests in and can collaborate with us and Akademia groups in Japan:, Akademia Ltd. and Akademia Systems corporation.

Gen Suzuki has more than twelve years experience as a high tech and cyberspace entrepreneur, including founding and executive roles at both private venture companies and large public companies. Before Akademia group companies in Japan had been established in 2004, as the Leader of SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research) in Tottori prefecture, Gen was responsible for developing new internet technologies and promoting the business plan to expand the population of skilled internet engineers in Tottori prefecture.
Gen joined NTT Software corporation in 1995, where he was responsible for promoting business development using a 3D CG and video based cyber society system (known as "Interspace") with Tower Record, Levi's and universities in SF. Using these experiences, Gen promoted the joint venture company (Aeon Net Communications Corp.) for online English school business in 2000.
Previously, Gen was working at NTT Human Interface Laboratories for more than twenty years as a research group leader of multi-user Cyberspace and video communication system technologies. Gen holds a Masters and Bachelor of Engineering degree in Applied Physics from Waseda University.
